FUTURE LENS / APP SUPPORT

Explore a place.
Find the help you need.

Future Lens lets the public view published augmented reality experiences. The next iOS release is a free public viewer; earlier TestFlight builds may have a different feature set.

For visitors: no account needed

  1. Choose Scan QR to open a shared public experience, or browse Experiences.
  2. Follow the Mini AR instructions to display the experience in miniature. Nearby discovery is optional; permission is requested when you enable it.
  3. For a first try, choose Offline dollhouse demo and use the printable demo card. Once installed, that demo needs no network, location or account.

QR recognition opens existing content; it does not capture a new space. Location-aligned AR is excluded from the public-viewer release. If public content cannot load, check your connection and try the bundled demo.

Camera, location, and connection

Allow camera access for QR scanning and AR. Nearby discovery is optional and asks for location when enabled. You can use a venue’s code without enabling nearby discovery. Enable camera or location in iOS Settings if you previously declined it.

If loading fails, check your connection and retry. For alignment problems, return to the mapped place, improve lighting, and point the camera at recognizable surroundings. Follow the venue’s access instructions and remain aware of people and obstacles.

Free iOS public viewer

The public-viewer release requires no account or payment. It includes public experiences and the bundled offline dollhouse demo. QR recognition opens an existing experience; it does not create a new spatial scan.

Location-aligned AR, space capture, client sign-in, creator tools, purchased model libraries and embedded websites are not included in this release. Website purchases do not unlock these features in the viewer.

Earlier TestFlight builds

Older builds may include client tools. Existing device drafts are not migrated or deleted by the viewer update. Preserve any drafts you need before uninstalling. Contact support with your build number for help.
